Voter #337, Ward 5, Precinct 2

Posted by Ted on Nov 4, 2008 in Politics

The line at the Trum Field voting precinct was longer than I’ve seen, but it was still only about 20 minutes.

I’ve never been more excited or proud to cast my vote.

Ward 6 Precinct 1 was an hour and a half wait! I was #617.

Connect the arrow to vote? That’s a new one for me.

I’ll be very thankful when all this is over later tonight.

We had the same experience in Ward 4 at 7:15 AM. Long line but it moved fast.

Give the guys and gals running the polls much credit for dealing with the thronging crowds today.

Happy and all to see your post, but I’m pretty sure it ought to be illegal to take a picture of one’s marked ballot, if it isn’t actually illegal already. That way lies vote-buying and serious voter intimidation.

I voted a couple weeks ago but I felt the same thing as I sealed the envelope. So far it’s looking good :)
